ZAC HOUSE

ANKARA, TURKEY

The entrance makes a bold first impression with marble flooring and a matching ceiling, setting the tone for the refined design language. A dramatic dining area with a bar creates an intimate yet striking space for hosting guests, resembling a niche restaurant. Glass panels divide the dining and living areas, offering flexibility—allowing for both openness and privacy while maintaining a visual connection from the entrance. The color scheme features a bold contrast with Mallard Green, used prominently in the dining space and kitchen, while the living area integrates the same hue in a more subtle manner through textured glass and a custom designed library unit that combines wood and glass.

The owner’s changing room, designed with a luxury boutique feel, features Bordeaux and cream lacquer finishes. A dedicated access room for luxury bags, watches, and jewelry enhances the space with custom display units, creating an elegant showcase effect.

The Gentlemen’s Club includes a cigar lounge, whiskey room, and a cinema space positioned at a slightly lower level within the room. The deep blue color palette defines this space, with custom- designed showcases and black framed detailing, complementing the carefully curated artworks.

The main bedroom incorporates a custom modular wall covering, along with mirrored ceiling elements and a bespoke makeup console. The open-plan en-suite bathroom seamlessly integrates a shower, changing area, and bathtub within the same space. A sculptural Antonio Lupi bathtub, paired with a travertine sink, serves as a statement piece.

The children’s bedroom is designed in collaboration with the little resident, featuring an animal theme and soft green tones. A playroom, designed with adaptability in mind, can later be transformed into a second child’s bedroom.
